Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Dumlabs ("we", "us"), which makes Mailmole. By installing the extension, creating an account, or buying a plan, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Mailmole. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
The short version
- Mailmole uses AI to summarize emails and draft replies. AI can be wrong, so read drafts before you send them.
- Your emails stay yours. We use them only to produce what you ask for.
- Paid plans renew automatically. You can cancel anytime in Settings, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Don't misuse the service or try to get around plan limits.
1. The service
Mailmole is a browser extension for Gmail and Outlook on the web. When you ask, it sends the open email to our server, which uses Anthropic's Claude AI to write a summary or a reply draft. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Mailmole may be offered as a beta or by invitation, and we may pause or limit access, for example to control costs or stop abuse.
Mailmole is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Google or Microsoft. Gmail and Outlook are trademarks of their owners. If they change their websites, parts of Mailmole may stop working until we update it.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it. You are responsible for activity on your account, so keep access to your email secure and tell us at hello@dumlabs.dev if you think someone else has used it. One account is for one person; please don't share it.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mailmole, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a paid plan.
3. AI output is a starting point
Summaries and drafts are generated by AI and can be incomplete, inaccurate, or miss important details. Check anything important against the original email, and review every draft before you send it. You are responsible for the emails you send and the decisions you make. Mailmole does not give legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to your emails, your instructions, and the drafts Mailmole creates for you. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you are allowed to use Mailmole with the emails you send to it. If you use Mailmole for work, check that your employer's policies allow AI tools to process work email.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Mailmole for anything illegal, or to create spam, harassment, scams, or other harmful content;
- break Anthropic's Usage Policy, which applies to all AI output Mailmole generates;
- try to get around plan allowances, daily limits, or invite rules, for example by creating multiple accounts;
- use Mailmole's server for anything other than the extension's features, including automated or bulk requests;
- copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its security or operation.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Plans, billing, and cancellation
| Plan | Price (USD) | Actions per month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 10 |
| Pro | $15 per month, or $144 per year | 150 |
| Power | $29 per month | 400 |
- Actions. One action is one summary or one reply draft. Regenerating or revising counts as a new action.
- Monthly allowance. Allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month (UTC), including on yearly plans. Unused actions don't roll over. A daily limit also applies to prevent abuse.
- Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and you authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime in the extension under Settings → Manage plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep your plan until then, and then move to Free. You can also switch plans there; Stripe adjusts the charge for the time left in your period.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable and we don't give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged in error, email hello@dumlabs.dev within 30 days and we will make it right.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry. If it can't be collected, your account moves to Free.
- Taxes. Prices do not include sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout where they apply.
- Price changes. We may change prices or allowances. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your plan, and it applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
7. Our property
Mailmole, Digby the mole, and our logos, design, and software belong to Dumlabs. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Mailmole while you follow them. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Mailmole at any time by uninstalling the extension, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@dumlabs.dev. Cancel any paid plan first so you are not charged again. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering Mailmole. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
9. Disclaimers
Mailmole is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Mailmole will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dumlabs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of Mailmole. Our total liability for any claim related to Mailmole is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you sent with Mailmole or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally. If you live in a country that gives you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local consumer laws, nothing here takes that away.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the extension or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Mailmole after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
14. Everything else
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Mailmole. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them as part of a sale or merger of the business.
